At 5:00 in the morning of February 3, we, the international students, international office members, our buddies and with Bapak Sigit, went out for the “Car Free Day.” It is an activity in Madiun in which it encourages drivers to not to use their cars for a day.

It sounded so cool I heard about it before, but when we were in the city already driving our bicycles, it is super cool.

Cars and motorcycles are not allowed at selected streets for the ‘Car Free Day,’ and because of it we get to see more of the city as we passed on the vendors selling different Indonesian items such as Batik, toys, and different Indo foods. Along the sellers, I bought a whistle which I found

so cute, a souvenir for myself.

As we were continue walking , we found a group of people who were having their dancing class. The music was so nice to hear that it almost persuade me to join. :D

After, we then had our brunch in which I ate nasi pecel, the special food of Madiun.

After buying, and looking for different things at the place, we were then gathered to proceed to our next place to visit.

Gathering us at the end of the road, we continued our tour in the Town Square wherein we met a group of people who do Karate.

After a while, we continued on sightseeing around the said square.

It is really a great time for me as we were able to have fun together again and get to see more of the beautiful Madiun.

At 9:00 AM, I then have left the group after asking their permission to attend my Sunday meeting at a near Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses which is located at Jl. Jayengan No. 1. As one of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, I have tried to find a Kingdom Hall for worshipping, but gratefully, brothers in my religion found me. He and his son, who are also Indonesians, guided me to reach the hall, my destination.

And there I was, I found a group of Indonesians also full of unconditional love.

The meeting was consists of a talk titled, “Have a Good Reputation in God’s Eyes,” and a watchtower study, an answer and question part of the meeting in which today’s topic is titled, “Who Molds Your thinking?”

Indeed, I have been strengthened again spiritually. Gratefully, I gained many friends today either old or young people such as Sebastian and Ryan, these little brothers are the ones who helped me understand the talks that were shared as they were in Indonesian language.

I then went home at around 12 noon, just after the meeting and chitchats with brothers and sisters in my religion. I continued on preparing the materials to be needed for my practice teaching at around 2:00 PM.

The PowerPoint Presentation that I have made...
